Find keyword opportunities in your own search data

Start with queries already receiving impressions. Review positions 4 to 20, then results whose CTR is below your site’s position-based benchmark. Inspect the landing page, search intent and current results before choosing a change. Estimated clicks help order the shortlist; they are not a forecast.

Build a small shortlist

Use a complete reporting window and choose one engine first. Prioritize enough impressions to make the pattern worth investigating, rather than applying a universal threshold to every site.

CandidateWhat to inspect
Average position 4–20Whether the page answers the query as well as the results above it.
High impressions, lower-than-expected CTRWhether the title and snippet describe the page and match intent.
Several pages share a queryWhether they serve distinct needs or compete for the same purpose.
How IndexGlow selects opportunity candidates

Look at the live search results

Open the query in the relevant engine, country and device context. Compare page types, result features and the answer a searcher expects. IndexGlow analyzes your connected search data; it does not supply a live SERP feed, competitor rank tracking or search-volume database.

  • Improve an existing page when it already serves the intent.
  • Create a new page only for a distinct, useful answer.
  • Add internal links from relevant pages using descriptive anchor text.

Change one thing you can evaluate

Record the page, query group, change and date. After enough complete data is available, compare clicks, impressions and CTR, with the same filters. Check overlapping pages before consolidating: several ranking URLs can be appropriate.

Try it with your own site

Replace example.com with a site you can access. Connect your data and assistant first.

For example.com, find up to five Google keyword opportunities over the last complete 28 days. Include queries in positions 4–20 and high-impression queries with CTR below the site’s benchmark. Show query, landing page, impressions, CTR, average position and estimated potential clicks. Check overlapping pages. Explain what to verify in the live SERP before changing anything. Treat estimates as prioritization, not guaranteed gains.

Keep in mind

These are your site’s reported queries, not all searches in a market. Bing uses weekly top records and may omit candidates. Ranking and CTR depend on intent and result layout; no change guarantees more traffic.
